Yerevan's former mayor Karen Karapetyan's candidacy for prime minister was not suggested by anyone inside the Republican party of Armenia, RPA MP Manvel Badeyan informed about this during the talk with LURER.com.
Responding to the reporters' question whether Karapetyan had appropriate qualities for assuming prime minister's post, Badeyan said that in his opinion Karapetyan is a rather smart and sage person. "We have got several candidacies who can worthily assume the duties of prime minister. If such an alternative is proposed, it will become an issue of discussion,” Karapetyan stated.
And in response to the question that according to circulating news there were disagreements inside the RPA over the incumbent prime minister's continuation in his post, the MP mentioned that he had not heard such opinions.
