Iran calls back its ambassador from Azerbaijan.

Iran called back its ambassador to Azerbaijan Mohammed Baqir Bahrami, SalamNews reports.

The reason of calling the envoy back is an insult to the spiritual leader during a protest action in front of the Iranian embassy in Baku.

Currently it is considered that the ambassador was called back to Tehran in order to hold consultations. It is not known yet when the ambassador will return to Azerbaijan, the Armenian paper in Russia Yerkramas reports.

On Tuesday the ambassador will leave for Iran.
