Zhoghovurd daily’s Moscow sources inform that Armenia’s second President Robert Kocharyan has not yet been able to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
“Even though Kocharyan is in Moscow for already three days, no decision has yet been reached concerning the resolution of the key issue for Armenia.
According to our information, he was told to wait. [But] This meeting could take place today [Wednesday] and a final clarification be given to the matter of whether or not the [Prosperous Armenia Party] PAP will agree to take part in the [country’s] ruling coalition.
To add, virtually all Prosperous Armenia Party members have gone underground these days. They are instructed to keep quiet until the end of this week,” Zhoghovurd writes.
