Couple dies after accident in Yerevan`s Komitas avenue leaving 3 small children alone.

A Nissan Maxima and a Yamaha-model motorcycle crashed nearby an Armenian capital city Yerevan building, on Monday at 7pm.

The motorcycle’s driver, Gevorg Tumanyan, 49, died on the spot, whereas the passenger, Marianna Khachatryan, 35, was transferred to hospital where, not having regained consciousness, she died at 10:40pm, the Police Press Service informs.

The Nissan Maxima’s driver and female passenger sustained injuries and were taken to hospital.

A criminal case was launched.

As photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan informed Tert.am earlier, the ones who died were couple who had 3 small children. 

Nissan Maxima driver was 42-year-old Armenak Avagyan.
