No One Arrested for Death of 19 Year-Old Soldier

Currently no one is arrested on the case of 19 year-old soldier Harutyunyan Armen Sargis diseased as a result of mine explosion during military trainings, stated Mary Petrosyan, Investigation Service officer of Ministry of Defense during an interview with lurer.com.


As lurer.com informed earlier, Armen Harutyunyan, recruited to the army on December 28, 2011 died during military trainings, in one of the military unions of Hadrut region, NKR.


This was reported by “Asparez” club of Gyumri, on May 20. They stated that the incident happened 3 days before, but no official statement had been made.


It is worth mentioning that a case was filed in Investigation Service of Ministry of Defense according to Article 376 of Criminal Code of RA, i.e. negligent attitude to service, which caused essential damage
