According to 1news.az, State Secretary Hilary Clinton is visiting Baku today, in the framework of her regional visits.

In the framework of her official visit a meeting with President Ilham Aliev, Minister of Foreign Affairs Elmar Mameyarov is anticipated.
As the US Embassy in Baku informed earlier, economic and energetic cooperation, strengthening political dialog between the two countries and other regional security issues will be discussed at the meeting

According to Mamedyarov, the discussion of regulation of Karabakh conflict with Clinton is high on the agenda.
“We intend to find ways to regulate this conflict, but the standpoint of Armenia is incomprehensible for us,” stated MFA Minister.
Let’s remember that State Secretary visited Armenia before departing for Baku. The regional visit will finish on June 7 in Istanbul, where international issues, particularly situation in Syria and nuclear program in Iran will be discussed.

On June 7, in Turkey the State Secretary will take part in Global Forum on Fight against Terrorism.
