Situation Calm in Villages of Tavoush: No Gunshots Over Night

During the conversation with Lurer.com, the head of Movses village of Tavoush Lyudvig Aperyan mentioned that there had been no gunshots heard last night. The situation is calm now.
“There has been no panic in our village. People are used to gunshots, which are heard almost daily. Those have become more repetitive and last longer. Back then, they would mainly shoot at military watch posts. Now they are firing in the direction of the village,” he noted.
The head of Nerkin Karmiraghbyur village Manvel Kamendatyan also informed Lurer.com that there are gunshots all the time. “The village is in the target. It is not a borderline village. It is on the frontier. People cant’s work because it’s dangerous at all time.”
Only the head of Aygepat village Andranik Aydinyan said that there had been gun shots and preferred not to answer further questions.
Village head of Chinari Samvel Saghoyan told Lurer.com that there had been no firing in the direction of the village and that there was no panic among villagers.
“Residents of Chinar have been living in conditions of war for over 22 years now. People are ready for that. I am really sorry that our boys died in our defense positions. We don’t have a place to go. We are the owners of our land and our families. Today the situation is very calm but we are being careful,” said the village head.
Let’s remember that yesterday at noon villages Aygepar, Movses and Nerkin Karmiraghbyur of Tavoush were under fire for hours. And the enemy mostly targeted residential areas. Earlier, an official RA Defense Ministry Meri Sargsyan informed Lurer.com that there had been no casualties on the frontier but couldn’t provide information about the villages.
