“Zhoghovurd” Daily: Robert Kocharyan Outside Armenia while Oskanian Being Questioned

A criminal case was filed against the former Minister of Foreign Affairs, head of NA PAP faction Vardan Oskanian. The latter is suspected in money laundering through “Civilitas” foundation. The former Minister was questioned at the National Security Service yesterday. Oskanyan described this incident as a political order, which followed his participation in politics. Also, Oskanyan is the second Minister of Foreign Affairs whose name is linked with money laundering. As known, in 2007, the former Minister of Foreign Affairs, Alexander Arzumanyan was imprisoned for 6 months on charge of money laundering. Another interesting fact is that Robert Kocharyan, whose team-mate is considered Oskanian, is currently outside Armenia.
