President of the Artsakh Republic Bako Sahakyan met in Yerevan OSCE chairman-in-office, deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of the Republic of Ireland, Eamon Gilmore on June 12.
Issues related to the resolution of the Azerbaijani-Karabagh conflict were discussed during the meeting.
High estimating efforts of the OSCE in Azerbaijani-Karabakh conflict resolution President Sahakyan underlined the necessity of restoring the negotiation format approved by the OSCE Budapest summit, noting that it would be impossible to reach the comprehensive resolution of the conflict without direct participation of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic.
The Head of the State once again approved the loyalty of official Stepanakert to peaceful resolution of the conflict within the frameworks of the Minsk Group adding that warlike and anti-Armenian policy of Azerbaijan, is one of the main obstacles on the way to resolve the issue and should receive a corresponding reaction by the international community.
The President of the Artsakh Republic noted the importance of visiting Artsakh and acquaintance with the country by the OSCE chairman-in-office.
Artsakh Republic Foreign Affairs Minister Vassily Atajanyan, personal representative of the OSCE chairman Andjey Kasprzyk and other officials were present at the meeting.
