“Hraparak” Daily: ARF as Chief Opponent at a Meeting with Hovik Abrahamyan

On Wednesday Hovik Abrahamyan met with the head of NA factions. The discussion was rather heated and the role of chief opponent took up ARF and not ANC. Armen Rustamyan complained that RPA violated NA bylaws and formula of Donte once again and formed 12 standing committees instead of 10. Having 12 Standing Committees means making extra expenses. Hovik Abrahamyan objected saying that there is one deputy head of standing committee among ARF members. “It would better not be so,” stated Armen Rustamyan. “Heads of two Standing Committees are RPA members.” Rustamyan’s next complaint referred to violation of NA bylaws. The decision about the members of Standing Committees was submitted to NA factions, when the deputy heads hadn’t been elected yet. “You should either make amendments to the bylaws or change the decision,” demanded Rustamyan. “We will do that,” said Abrahamyan not making clear what it referred to.
