City Planned to Be Built in Liberated Territories of NKR

Members of the soviet refugees presidium have initiated to build a city in the liberated territories of NKR – in an adjacent territory of Kovsakan. They plan to name the new city Bagaran. This was reported by Mariam Avagyan, a member of the presidium.

In her words, they are trying to receive the support of non-governmental organizations as well as local governments controlling the territories. According to Avagyan, the preliminary results are positive. “We hope that our city will be more beautiful than Baku and in that city we are going to restore the Armenian community. The project of Bagaran city is already outlined. The city will be ecologically clean; it will have lots of young people and will be anticipated for 100 thousand residents,” mentioned Mariam Avagyan. She also added that financially it will be worth the cost of Northern Avenue construction.
