Armenian Press
Two days ago, when the discussion of the government program kicked of in the National Assembly, a PAP faction member Gurgen Arsenyan, asked a few questions to Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan. He asked why the government meant by saying that the tax and customs bodies should function based on the principle of integrity. What does it mean? Arsenyan also asked what “drastic reform” means when the government says that green house lands will be increased three times that will temper the the prices of agricultural products in a significant way and the volume of export will increase. He asked a few other question and after listening to the comments of the Prime Minister Arsenyan said that his questions were not properly answered and that he was going to address those during his speech. Moreover, he said this in such a tone that everyone assumed that his speech is going to be crushing the government program. Tigran Sargsyan said, “We will carefully listen to your speech.” Yesterday, however, Tigran Sargsyan said that he had planned tree version of his speech but will speak of something different and started to speak about the times of Shah Abbas. Yesterday, a reporter of the daily try to find out whether Arsenyan was pressured not to deliver his original speech. But it wasn’t possible to do this in the NA and later Arsenyan wasn’t answering the phone calls.
