“Haykakan Zhamanak”: Owners of Dismantled “Gnuni” Kiosks Migrated
Armenian Press
One and a half years ago the City Council of Yerevan diligently dismantled numerous trade kiosks of Gnuni street, located near the construction market. Yesterday the reporter of our newspaper tried to find out where the owners are now and what they are doing.
It turns out that many of the owners have migrated from Armenia with their families and one of the workers has become homeless.
Also, this market doesn’t look any better after the removal of dozens of kiosks. Externally, nothing looks changed here.
