A Charity Concert by “UNISON” Violin class will be opened in Achajour Music School (photos)

Shushan Hakobyan, the pianist of “Unison” musical duet, laureate of International Competitions, Gold Medalist of The Ministry of Culture of the RA and Ruben Aghiyan, the violinist of the musical duet and a composer, are again back to their Motherland from the USA with their new Charity initiatives.

This time the musicians are organizing a CHARITY CONCERT at the hall of Komitas Museum-Institute on August 10 at 19.00.

Tigran Gevorgyan - flute, Honored artist of the RA,

Students of Achajour Music School.

The presentation of the first CD of “Unison” duet will take place during the concert.

Tհis is the third Charity Concert of the duet in Yerevan. The whole income, gained from the last years’ concerts, was donated to the Music School of the bordering village of Achajour in Tavoush region. Musical instruments and other accessories were donated to the school by the musicians who paid the tuition fees of the students as well.

With the profit of the present Concert, going to be held on August 10, the musicians are intended to open a violin class at the school: to donate musical instruments and purchase corresponding literature and methodical manuals.

On August 11-12 is planned the visit to Achajour community to complete the charity work: donation of musical instruments, meeting with the students and teachers, as well as, concert performances with the participation of the musicians of Unison Duet Music Production&quot.
