“Chorrord Ishkhanutyun”: Why was Herman Van Rumpoy’s Visit Being Postponed?

As we know, President of European Council Herman Van Rumpoy began his series of visit to Yerevan, who left for Georgia in the afternoon.
According to the information of the newspaper, his wife was to visit with him, but he came to Armenia alone.
The newspaper informs that at the last moment information was spread that Mrs Rumpoy isn’t going to visit Armenia because of unwell health condition. By the way, a separate program was planned for Rumpoy’s wife in which Rita Sargsyan was also to take part.
In addition, the program was neither social nor cultural, but political. Van Rumpoy’s wife intended to meet politically active women in Armenia and discuss inner political issues with them.
According to the information of the newspaper, postponing of Van Rumpoy’s visit has its special reason. President of European Council has problems with member countries, moreover, problems reached to the point that some member countries through their airline companies created obstacles for Rumpoy’s move. Rumpoy succeeded to arrange his avia-visit with difficulty.
