Today is the 56th Anniversay of Artsakh Hero Manvel Grigoryan

Today is HDU department chairman, Artsakh hero, Leutenant-General Manvel Grigoryan’s Birthday. Lurer.com, estimating General’s undeniable role in nowadays Armenian victorious war, his great contribution to the army-construction, as a chairman of HDU department, his current activities directed to the defense of the rights of soldiers, victims and injured, to the solution of problems, to the military-patriotic upbringing of the young generation, whole-heartedly congratulates the Artsakh hero with his birthday anniversary. We wish, that yet for many years he put his abilities in strengthening of Armenia and Artsakh, in the progress of the Armenian nation. We also had a little interview with Manvel Grigoryan on his birthday.
-Mr. Grigoryan, the presidential elections in RNK are on July 19. What position does HDU have?
-We are calm and sure that the Artsakh population will make the right choice. RNK is an independent country, has democracy of a higher degree than Azerbaijan. So, a wise decision will be made. Especially that it’s not too hard to orientate. Bako Sahakyan has showed with his work that he is a good leader, that he is devoted to the process of establishment and international recognition of the RNK .
-How do you estimate the situation on Armenian-Azeri border. Is there any possibility for restarting the war?
-We must always be ready for the war, we must consider that at any moment Turks can provocate. Though if they are smart, today the Azeri won’t start military actions. They know that if they start, this time we may oblige not a truce but an unconditional surrender. Our nation must be joint in order to stand the exterior danger together.
-Every year in August you organize a pilgrimage to Artsakh. Are you departing this year as well? If yes, what is the event’s aim?
-We are definitely going to be in all the administrative regions of Artsakh. The pilgrimage starts on May 28, from Sardarapat, passes through all the RA regions, all the frontier settlements and ends in the country of Artsakh. We are making an opportunity to meet war friends, to remember the days of war. We also visit the memory of dead friends, their memorials in the place of their martyrdrom. Defending pilgrimages contribute to the rising the spirit of frontier residents. The frontier resident is a frontier. He must feel every moment that he is not alone. The pilgrimage is going to take place. We invite you to participate and to see with your own eyes how it encourages and exceeds the frontier resident.
