The Inflation Rate in Armenia is 0.7%

In June of the year 2012 as compared to the same period of the previous year, the level of inflation in Armenia amounted to 0.7%.
According to the data of National Statistical Service, inflation is mainly due to the tariff increase of 3.9% non-grocery goods and 1.9 % service sector.
According to RA NSS data, in the June of 2012, compared to the same period of 2011, the prices of grocery goods (including beverages and tobacco) fell by 0.9%.
In the January-June of 2012, as compared to the same period of the previous year, consumer price index was 102.2%.
At the same time, the price index for grocery goods (including beverages and tobacco) is 101.8%, the tariffs of non-grocery goods and services is 102%.
