Vitali Balasanyan was a Real Opposition: Alexander Iskandaryan

Everything that I saw in press, I got the impression that press is of the opinion that Karabakh is for being grateful to international organizations. But I think that it should be spoken not about evaluation of elections, but how they passed and what reality they recorded. This opinion was expressed by politician Alexander Iskandaryan in an interview with reporters.
According to him presidential election campaign was hard in RNK.
“Vitali Balasanyan was a real opposition, the campaign was hard, opposition succeeded to unite. Balasanyan gathered many votes, which 2-3 times exceeds votes of the opposition candidate of previous elections. This is a result of the unity of opposition”, said Iskandaryan.
The speaker also stated that unfortunately none of the five political forces of Karabakh supported Balasanyan, but added that the fact that private deputies were supporting Balasanyan is appreciated.
“There is an impression that opposition faction formulation is possible.This would be difficult for the authorities to reckon with, which will cause to changes of image of RNK political atmosphere. Karabakh is changing and this is the lesson that they got from elections”, said Iskandaryan and added that RNK presidential elections were very light, there were some problems, abuse of administrative resources but they were mild.
