Eduard Nalbandyan on Arthakh Elections

Minister of Foreign Affairs, Eduard Nalbandyan, replying to the question of “Armenpress” media agency, about the next presidential elections in Artsakh, said:
"The free, fair and competitive presidential elections held in RNK on July 19, speak about the Artsakh authorities’ and population’s commitment to democracy and the rule of law.
The presence of several decade international observers is welcomed, with the assessment of which the elections have been organized, transparent and carried out with international standards.
I do not think that the necessity and the importance of formulating the authorities through democratic elections can be debatable by any democratic country.
The international community, of course, should be interested in having relations with the elected authorities by the people of Nagorno Karabakh, especially, that it is planned with the mandate of the OSCE Minsk Conference.
In this election the people of Artsakh once again proved the determination of ruling its fate in a democratic way. "
