Vitali Balasanyan will Congratulate Bako Sahakyan

According to preliminary results of RNK presidential elections on July 19, Bako Sahakyan has 66.70% of votes (47.085 votes), Vitali Balasanyan – 32.50% and Arkadi Soghomonyan – 0.84%. Yesterday Vitali Balasanyan appeared with an announcement in which stated that elections were free but not fair.
“The current President and his team weren’t able to provide fair elections. Elections were free, but not fair. During the rally and at the day of elections there was pressure on public, administrative resource was completely directed to collection of votes for the current president”, reads the announcement.
Lurer.com had an interview with Vitali Balasanyan to clarify whether he’s going congratulate Bako Sahakyan or not.
“CEC is to declare the winner, after which congratulations will follow. I’ll also congratulate him”, said Balasanyan.
Turning to the question whether there’d be future appeals or not, Balasanyan said that they’d be, but didn’t enlarge upon it.
