Mercedes Appeared in River after Breakdown: 1 Died, 2 Suffered (photos)

Today, July 14 there was an accident in Kotayk region. At about 1 am on the 34th kilometer of Hrazdan-Hanqavan highway 26 year-old Aghas Soghomonyan living on Mamikonyants 40/2, driving his Mercedes C 280, plate number 09 ԼՏ 282, diverted from the road area hit the iron barriers and rolling down 20 meters appeared in river.
As Gagik Shamshyan informed tert.am from the scene, as a result of the accident inhabitant of Verin Ptghni, Kotayk region, 34 year-old Zatik Torosyan died, and the other passenger, inhabitant of Abovyan city, Daran 6/53, 29 year-old Hakob Dovlatyan, which works at “Samkon” ltd got bodily injuries and was moved to Hrazdan medical center.
At Hrazdan medical center the photojournalist was informed that H.Dovlatyan’s health is in extremely bad condition and he’ll be moved to Yerevan.
G. Shamshyan reports that before the arrival of rescuers bee-keepers near the accident site took the wounded from the gorge and moved to the hospital.
Traffic police arrived at the scene with the head of Arsen Grigoryan. Kotayk Police Investigation Department deputy and Hrazdan Investigaion Division investigator were also there.
Criminal case was launched in Investigation Division of Kotayk region on Article 242 of the Criminal Code, paragraph (2) (violation of traffic rules and vehicle operation, which negligently caused human death) characteristics.
