“Hraparak”: the Press and Free Speech Won

The trial Margarita Khachatryan - “Hraparak Daily” which lasted for more than a year was finished with victory of “Hraparak”.
The newspaper states that they haven’t the text of the judgment yet, but it was informed yesterday that Judge Samvel Tadevosyan denied Ms Maroz’s claim, with which she was forcing the newspaper to retract the news published on April 11, 2011. This is one of the exceptional cases, when press and free speech won and the court made an impartial verdict in accordance with the requirements of law.
