“Zhoghovurd”: “Spontaneous Protest” of Vardan Ghukasyan’s Retainers wouldn’t Take Place

Retainers of Gyumri mayor Vardan Ghukasyan decided to hold a spontaneous protest action in front of the President’s Office with the demand to grant the right to Vardan Ghukasyan to be nominated for a mayor.
According to well informed sources of the newspaper, for this purpose buses came to Yerevan with a great fanfare, with hue and cry, but the Police stopped the participants of spontaneous protesters not far from Baghramyan street asking them where they go.
Frightened from the Police uniform, the group of Gyumri residents replied, “We’re going to St. Sargis, to pilgrimage.”
“The way to St Sargis is on the other side”, pointed the policemen, after which retainers of Vardan Ghukasyan changed their route. The “spontaneous protest” wouldn’t take place, and three hours later the buses again appeared in Gyumri.
