Connected with alarms that Lurer.com received from Syrian-Armenians, we tried to get an official response on the condition of Syrian-Armenians today.
To note, both Aleppo and Damascus broke sad news about battles that are becoming heated and are reaching to the Armenian districts.
MFA press speaker Tigran Balayan is on a business trip with the Minister. Still he informed by the message, that Deputy Minister’s words will be an official viewpoint of MFA for two weeks. Possibly the statement of Sergei Manasyan is mentioned, according to which closure of the embassy is excluded.
In order to clarify information on latest evens in Syria Lurer.com contacted chairman of committee of Syrian Armenian issues in Ministry of Diaspora, which told us, “I can’t say anything strictly, I’m not informed now.”
Let’s notice that a few hours before our conversation a few medias have already alerted that battles reached to Armenian communities. Maybe it’s time to read papers.
