Are Falsifications of Talin Elections Unprovable?
Political
Conversations on extraordinary elections in Talin on August 5 still continue. As head of PAP faction Naira Zohrabyan told Lurer.com, during voting they registered violations and stated, “this time pens of two colors – red and blue were delivered, by which citizens were voting for their orderers to present a material evidence. In each of the three polling stations of Talin we witnessed some innovation, when 50-60 people came to vote accompanied by another man, in the case when the latter didn’t have any health problems.”
In an interview with Lurer.com today Naira Zohrabyan announced, that PAP isn’t going to write a letter of complaint, “We just think useless to appeal. If a man insists that he has bad eyesight, the law doesn’t prohibit him enter voting accompanied by someone”, stated Naira Zohrabyan.
Moreover, the latter also stated, that she’s going to offer a change in Electoral Code, “If any member of the committee or any proxy has well-grounded doubt that the voter doesn’t have such health problem to vote alone, to have the right to demand a certificate confirming his disability.”
“How should we proof in court that people have been terrorized and pressed? We’ve registered that all – voting by different pens and accompanied by other people, even the volatile stamp seals, everything has been registered at polling stations, but direct appeal of the results of elections is senseless, because nothing is going to change”, concluded Naira Zohrabyan.
To note, in response to the announcement on violations, head of ARP faction Galust Sahakyan in an interview with Lurer.com called on Naira Zohrabyan to present this appeal as the law demands – in written form.
