“Hraparak”: New Nominations for Mayor Candidacy

There were new nominations for mayor candidacy yesterday. In Gyumri was nominated Hovsep Simonyan from ARF, which is former Governor of Shirak region, and a devotee of ARF member Romik Manukyan. At that time he was head of regional administration and now he’s the deputy head.
His wife is a famous banking specialist and has already changed a few banks. Yesterday news was spread that Gyumri mayor Vardan Ghukasyan applied to visa department for certificate of his residency for the last 6 months, which is one of the documents demanded from mayor candidates. It can be supposed that despite his announcements in many places that he’s going to be nominated, final decision hasn’t been made yet.
