Why wasn’t the Topic of Eurasian Union Discussed?

Armenian analytical mind recorded, that neither Putin, nor Sargsyan didn’t say a single word about Eurasian Union, in the announcement made for the press. And this, probably, should be considered the main political intrigue of the two presidents’ meeting.
When before the meeting many officials visited Armenia and the question of future union was put in circulation, it was expected that the issue will also be discussed in the presidents’ meeting. That didn’t occur, however the absence of any hints on that in the texts of official announcements testify on that.
With Lurer.com's request, reporter, member of "Heritage" party department, Lusine Petrosyan interpreted it:
"I think that in the international relations, it’s not really important what is being discussed, but what is being voiced. If it’s not been announced, it’s not essential whether it has been negotiated or not. In that case only one thing should be recorded: that the issue of Eurasian Union is not on the agenda. I think that in the context of Putin- Sargsyan meeting, concerning the Eurasian Union, happened the same as in Georgian-Ossetian war, when no matter how much Russia pleaded, persuaded, or tried to force, Armenia didn’t recognize the independence of Ossetia. I think it’s what happened in this meeting.
