“Hraparak”: Vardan Ghukasyan won’t be Nominated

Current Gyumri mayor Vardan Ghukasyan will obey Serzh Sargsyan’s injunction and won’t be nominated.
As the newspaper reported earlier, Ghukasyan hoped that RF President Vladimir Putin would intercede for him by motion of Cossacks at Serzh Sargsyan and make the latter change his decision.
But on August 8 in the agenda of Sargsyan-Putin meeting the issue on Gyumri mayor elections wasn’t included, and Ghukasyan understood that he could expect no help from the North either. Today is the last nomination day, but we’re not of the opinion that the decision will undergo any change.
