Opens Fifth All-Armenian Educational Conference

Armenia’s Education and Science Ministry is organizing the fifth All-Armenian educational conference with participation of 150 figures from 25 countries.

The launch was given at Arno Babajanyan concert hall attended by Armenia’s Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan, Diaspora Minister Hranush Hakobyan, deputy foreign affairs minister Sergey Manasyan.

Prime minister recited the message of the country’s President Serzh Sargsyan addressed to the participants of the conference.

Diaspora minister Hranush Hakobyan noted that she has held hundreds of meetings with Diaspora Armenians but the meetings with teachers and organizers of educational affairs are of great significance for her.

The minister stressed no matter where the Armenians settled, they have established cultural centers, schools and Armenian language centers everywhere. “You are doing everything for our children to learn Armenian,” the minister said.

The conference will be held from August 10-14.
The gathering was first organized in 2004. It is being conducted once in two years.
