Emergency Minister Armen Yeritsyan Contacts Alpinist Stuck on Georgia’s Ushba Mount

Emergency Minister Armen Yeritsyan contacted Georgian internal ministry, emergency situations department, Armenian embassy in Tbilisi and personally Andranik Mirabyan, which climbed the Ushba Mount in Georgia and because of bad weather can’t come down. Andranik told A.Yeritsyan, he’s ok and there is no need to worry. He also thanked MES for the taken measures and for anxiety. A.Mirabyan’s mother was also in crisis center management. Then they contacted Georgia and it was informed that today at 4 am Ossetian rescue group began climbing the Ushba Mount with other two Armenians. According to MES weather forecast of Georgia and Armenia, this night and tomorrow the whole day weather will change considerably and beneficiary conditions will be provided for rescue works. RA MES will do its best to return safely its citizen.
