Head of UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs to Visit Syria and Lebanon

Head of UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Activities Valeri Amos will visit Syria and Lebanon on August 14-16. Amos stated that the visit is connected both with refugees sheltered in neighboring countries and the anti-human conditions in the areas occupied by Syrian officers. It’s expected that Amos will meet Syrian Government and representatives of “Red Crescent” to discuss the possibility of adding humanitarian support in the region. According to the data of law enforcement agencies, fight goes on in Damascus and Aleppo.
