On Friday 31 year-old singer Beyonce performed at UNO General Assembly. During her performance scenes of natural disasters and rescuers assisting sufferers were being displayed on huge screen. Pop singer announced: “We see about which disasters the newspapers report every day. And at those moments we ask to ourselves: how can we help them? It’s such a beautiful day to show that we’re concerned about these problems.”
The performance was on the eve of World Humanitarian Day, which is celebrated on August 19.
