60 people killed in a mine collapse in Congo

60 people died in Democratic Republic of Congo. Local Radio Okapi reports that the accident took place on August 13, but has been revealed only today.
The accident occurred in the east of the country during the illegal mining of minerals.
The collapse took place at a depth of 100 meters, when the pitmen reached the bottom of the mine, local authorities reported to the journalists that the information is reliable. It was also told at the scene that the mine has been closed, but because of the conflict between the government troops and the rebels, the inspectors have been fired from work.
