“Haykakan Zhamanak”: Gagik Tsarukyan is the second after God

The newspaper reports, that at RA NA election from No7 precinct Nikol Pashinyan and Samvel Aleksanyan had been nominated. One of the voter’s, an old woman declared,
“After Christ Samvel Aleksanyan is the second person.” Yesterday it “was clarified” who is the second after God, and the author of that shocking clarification was Deputy Minister of Sports and Youth Affairs, president of weightlifting federation, PAP member Samvel Khachatryan.
To the question of one of the media, is there any candidate for president of federation in case of resignation, he replies: “There will be someone to substitute me. There is no indispensable man. Only God is irreplaceable. Only God is irreplaceable and at the moment only Gagik Tsarukyan.”
Noticing that maybe it’s somehow natural, that “cherished” children of the nation that adopted Christianity first as state religion – Samvel Aleksanyan and Gagik Tsarukyan are “honored” to be the second after God, Christ, but in any case the newspaper cites from the Bible, “Lord, forgive them for they know not what they do.”
