Margar Ohanyan submits petition for pardon from Serzh Sargsyan

Sources of Lurer.com inform that Margar Ohanyan submitted to the country’s President a petition for being granted a pardon, asking to apply the exclusive right of Article 55 of the Constitution. He particularly stated that he regrets for what he’s done and asks pardon from RA President.
Ohanyan’s barrister Mkrtich Vasakyan’s all the assurances that Ohanyan didn’t apply to Serzh Sargsyan with the request to pardon, doesn’t correspond to the reality.
According to the same sources, the application for a pardon has been written a few days after the verdict announcement.
