2 years of imprisonment to Pussy Riot girls

The Moscow Khamovniki Court has just completed the announcement of the verdict of Pussy Riot members and sentenced them to 2 years of imprisonment each, reports Lenta.ru.
The Attorney asked the Court for 3 years of imprisonment for the three girls arrested in March, to recognize them guilty in hooliganism. Attorney's request was partially granted and 2 years of imprisonment has been appointed.
To note, lots of famous musicians over the world (including Madonna and Paul McCartney ) and state figures announced that they support Pussy Riot girls and find that the accusation contains political revenge. Beginning from March, in different countries and cities (also in Yerevan) protests were held in defense of the activists.
