Lurer.com talked to Chairman of Helsinki Citizens' Assembly, Vanadzor office, Artur Sakunts, whose claim against Ruben Hayrapetyan approached the end in Court of General Jurisdiction of Kentron and Nork-Marash Administrative Districts. Basis for lodging a claim was the TV program, where its guest AFF President Ruben Hayrapetyan made an offensive expression.
During the interaction Artur Sakunts informed that on August 17 both sides presented their proofs and according to the responder Ruben Hayrapetyan’s expressions were abstract and unaddressed.
“We substantiated that everything is real, me as an individual and Helsinki association and Ruben Hayrapetyan, and everything is in logical connection and those expressions refer to clear actions. The court decided that everything is clear and the verdict will be published on August 29,” he said.
To the question, what expectations he has from the court, the latter replied,
“I’m talking about the RA Court, hence I don’t cherish excessive hope. If the claim is upheld, we’ll appeal against the decision of the court and will pursue a fair resolution of the issue.”
