Javakhk Diaspora of Russia demands to change RA Ambassador to Georgia

The recent events in Samtskhe-Javakhk – Charles Aznaour’s arrival and performance in Rabat fortress of Akhaltsikhe, received stormy responses among Armenian activists and population,reads the special message of Javakhk Disapora of Russia.
On August 16 of 2012 the request of the Armenian Community Union to change the place of performance, was ignored, and the event took place exactly where it was planned to.
“The actions of Armenian diplomatic representation in Georgia arose special resentment, which was actively preaching this event. Instead of its authorization i.e. defense of Armenian community interests, the diplomatic representation was almost transformed into an attaché of Georgian authority.
We request the President, Government and RA MFA to call back RA Ambassador to Georgia Hovhannes Manukyan and appoint someone else instead of him, which will be able to defend the rights of Armenians in Georgia,” reads the application.
