Road accident on Ijevan-Yerevan Highway

A VAZ 2106-model vehicle went off road, on Ijevan-Yerevan Highway, and subsequently hit a tree, on Sunday at around 4am.
As a result, passenger Karen Babayan, 32, died on the spot, whereas the driver and two other passengers sustained injuries and were transferred to hospital, the Police press service informs.
But driver Slavik Voskanyan, 36, likewise lost his life on the same day at 8am.
An investigation is launched into the accident.
