City Hall representative denies the fact, while the representative of the accused company accepts it

Today a session concerning the criminal case of “Surenyants street residents against “Mets Mhak” company” took place at the First Instance Court of Arabkir and Kanaker-Zeytun administrative regions. Surenyants street residents protest against constructing a next restaurant or café at a public area by means of logging.
On the previous session respondent's representatives denied the logging, and the court decided to implement inspection at the scene.
"It became clear from today’s session that the judge too, is inclined to believe in the fact of logging. Trees have been uprooted, instead there are holes," Arhtur Avtandilyan, the member of "We are the owner of this city" initiative told in the interview with us. According to him, only one of the two respondents present at the trial tried to deny the fact, that the holes are results of logging, while the representative of the company being accused of logging has indirectly accepted it.
During the trial, plaintiff's lawyer Mnatsakan Ghazaryan submitted a mediation concerning conducting a forensic constructive-technical and seismic testing. Opposite the demand of the respondent, the court has satisfied the mediation. The trial has been postponed until implementing and publicizing the testing.
