Complaint on the case of ANC activists was submitted to the Court of Appeal

ANC activist Areg Gevorgyan wrote on his Facebook social network page:
"The compliant is submitted to the Court of Appeal!!!
Vahe Grigoryan, the lawyer of ANC young activists Tigran Arakelyan, Artak Karapetyan, Sargis Gevorgyan and David Kiramijyan have submitted a compliant to the Court of Appeal on August 20. The compliant mediated to reverse the verdict of Yerevan Court of Kentron and Nork-Marash administrative districts, made on August 20 and acquit.
To remind you, the court, presided by Judge Gagik Poghosyan, made a verdict according to which ANC activists were sentenced to 6 to 2 years of imprisonment. The verdict reads, that Tigran Arakelyan has been found guilty for hooliganism and for implementing hazardous and non-hazardous violence towards life or health against an authority representative, Artak Karaetyan has been found guilty for hooliganism and for implementing a non-hazardous violence against an authority representative, Sargis Gevorgyan and David Kiramijyan- for hooliganism.
All 4 defendants are being accused of the incident with the police, occurred on August 9, 2011.
