Russia will have a Muslim TV channel

On August 19 the first Muslim Al-RTV public TV channel began to launch in Russia. It’s realized in 7 Russian regions, reports RIA Novosti.
To note, Al-RTV has been established on the initiative of big Muslim companies for the purpose of doing moral and psychological advocacy. Broadcasting is going to be around the clock.
Editor-in-chief of the TV channel has been appointed Rustam Arifdzhanov, vice president of the Eurasian Academy of Television and Radio Broadcasting. TV channel is managed by the Public Council, which includes representatives of the major Islamic organizations.
