“Haykakan Zhamanak”: 83 thousand 760 people left and didn’t return to Armenia

During the last seven months 83 thousand 760 people left Armenia by different means of transport and didn’t return. This data was published by State Migration Service of the RA Ministry of Territorial Administration yesterday.
At the same period of the last year the number of departed and not returned people was 78 thousand 644 As compared to the previous year, this index increased by 5 thousand, i.e. by 6.5%. Only in July, 10 thousand people departed from Armenia.
The newspaper notes, that State Migration Service suggested RA government to undertake research to clarify the exact volumes of migration. For this program State Migration Service asked for 13 million AMD assistance from RA government.
