“Georgian dream” nominates Norik Karapetyan’s candidacy in Akhalkalaki

“Georgian dream” political coalition nominated head of “Javakhk” national movement Norik Karapetyan’s candidacy as a majoritarian MP, reports Iverony agency.
As the head of “Georgian dream” coalition Bidzina Ivanishvili stated, Norik Karapetyan is well aware of the demands of the Armenian Diaspora, but now he has changed his viewpoints and became a man of state mentality.
“There used to be time when they were expressing thoughts that members of our coalition didn’t share. Norik Karapetyan has already announced that his previous announcements had been done in response to the ideology of current state agencies. Now his viewpoints are totally Georgian and his position corresponds to our state,” Ivanishvili said.
The agency notes, that recently representatives of Javakhk“ organization announced that their rights were violated in Georgia and they were demanding to give the Armenian language a regional status in Samtskhe-Javakhk-Tsalka, as well as adjust the status of the Armenian Apostolic Church and recognize the disputable Armenian churches.
