The newspaper received an alarm from a group of tourists in Sharm El Sheikh that instead of having an amazing time in a five-star hotel, they appeared in the street, even they are under the threat to be arrested. Having done all the payments beforehand, in Armenia, they left for Egypt through Happy Voyage travel agency and fell into a real adventure in Sharm el Sheikh.
It’s stated in the travel package that in Sunrise Grand Select Arabian beach resort hotel the Armenian tourists have been kindly greeted, but then realizing that the travel agency didn’t transfer any money to them, they were warned to pay. The tourists are in panic, they tried to contact the travel agency, but according to the tourists they did nothing but promises: “First they promised to do money transfer at least on Sunday, but until this day they didn’t transfer a penny.” The Armenians were in the center of attention of the hotel workers, not permitting them to get on a ship, not to go far from the hotel fearing they’ll escape and won’t pay.
Moreover, some of the tourists left for Egypt on their honeymoon, many with the families, small children and to put it mildly, appeared in the street. After a few intensive warnings the hotel staff began not to serve the Armenians, and yesterday the manager exhorted them to apply to the Embassy or we’ll call the Police, until you pay our money you won’t leave. The hotel expenses are rather expensive. For 4 days to stay overnight each tourist is to pay $2600 without the travel package.
