“Hraparak”: two figures have presidential ambitions in ANC
Armenian Press
It’s said if Levon Ter-Petrosyan wouldn’t be nominated, the structure will totally collapse. This claim is rather realistic. The problem is, there has never been any ideological or even any personal disagreement between the ANC members and the one who unites them is Levon Ter-Petrosyan’s personality, hope towards his rightness. If Ter-Petrsyan is removed from the ANC, it will turn out that age-old enemies and political opponents are gathered, which have extremely different political viewpoints. To make a clear image of all this, let’s note, that besides Ter-Petrosyan, other two figures also have presidential ambitions in ANC - ANC coordinator Levon Zurabyan and RA former PM Hrant Bagratyan. They announce that they can be nominated for the president only when Levon Ter-Petrosyan won’t be nominated. And as far as Ter-Petrosyan nomination is under question they try to clarify their probabilities negotiating with other ANC representatives, to find out what support they can expect inside the structure. It can only be supposed Levon Ter-Petrosyan be nominated only in the case when his not nomination can entail to ANC’s total collapse, which is not desired by him.
