Protest: Spayka continues cheating villagers (video)

Today 30 villagers of Ohanavan, Ushi and Mughni villages, Aragatsotn Region were holding a protest in front of the Government.
According to the villagers Spayka company gathered cherry and apricot and hasn’t done any payments. The amount is about 42.000.000 AMD.
“Spayka company doesn’t pay us, cheats every day, says today, tomorrow, in an hour or two, and we came to ask the Government to cover the issue, otherwise we’ll solve the issue by a rural way,” said one of the villagers to Lurer.com.
They cooperated with Spayka company last year, which conscientiously made all the payments, by this gained credit and received the food without any contract. As a result, this year payment is delayed, it was even announced from the company that there is no such a problem and all these are libels.
Despite the false announcement the company promised the villagers to pay until August 22, but they made the villagers to wait and see off with an empty pocket.
The villagers are ready to held protests continually to receive the result of their work.
The protestants brought a complaint-application, under which about 150 villagers have signed. In case of not receiving any support from the Government they promise to close the village road.
The Government promised to proceed the complaint and on 9.30 am the letter will be sent to the Ministry of Agriculture.
