Irresponsible officials are sinners of ethnic clashes: Putin

Ethnic clashes in Kondopogu, Sagra and Moscow are the result of inaction of law enforcement officials and irresponsible line of action of the state officials. This was announced by RF President Vladimir Putin, reports RIA Novosti.
“Corruption, absence of impartiality of representatives of state institutions, failure to provide justice and defend people’s rights, serve as a basis for the development of ethnic tension, and for some it’s even profitable to transfer the complaint of some citizens on some cases of injustice into ethnic clashes,” said Putin at the first session of Council for Ethnic Relations in RF.
According to RF President, maintenance of ethnic balance, operational and strict regulation of possible conflict situations and tolerance sermon should become primary in the work of all circles of state agencies, especially in the case of local governmental bodies.
