Kapan City former mayor won’t fight for being reelected

Kapan City candidate, former Mayor, non-party Gagik Atajanyan presented an application for self-rejection to No38 electoral commission today.
This news was being actively circulated in Kapan these days and conditioned by some circumstances this step of the candidate was unexpected for many people. Mr Atajanyan is a senior specialist in Zangezur copper-molybdenum complex.
According to “Aravot” Daily the competition will go on between the two candidates on September 9 at local governmental elections: current mayor Artur Atayan and Ashot Hayrapetyan, which have already commenced the rally.
Hot election is expecting in Kapan City in autumn, on the one side the RPA candidate and the current mayor on the other.
