New perspectives for Armenian-Argentinean healthcare interaction

Armenia’s Health Minister Derenik Dumanyan today received Argentina’s Ambassador to Armenia, Diego Ernesto Álvarez Rivera.
Dumanyan noted that the cooperation between the health ministries of both countries has a long history.
“But it desirable for this cooperation to incorporate much broader circles. I believe this meeting will open up new prospects in this respect,” said Derenik Dumanyan.
In his turn, Ambassador Diego Ernesto Álvarez Rivera stressed that the healthcare sector possesses foundations for deepening bilateral cooperation, and he expressed his readiness to serve as a bridge between the two ministries.
Derenik Dumanyan assured that there are numerous opportunities for cooperation in the healthcare sector and Argentinean-Armenian physicians likewise can get actively involved in these projects.
Also, and by way of the Argentinean Ambassador, Minister Dumanyan invited Argentina’s Minister of Health and Social Action to Yerevan, to discuss cooperation programs. The Ambassador promised to convey the invitation, and expressed a hope that this meeting will become a starting point for deepening Armenian-Argentinean interaction in the healthcare sector.
